Built a new computer. Won't turn on. What the fuck.
Everything fits, and as far as I know, all the jumpers are right and the front side connections are set correctly. No notable static came in contact with the mobo, or processor. Tried a different PSU. Nothing. W. T. F. Even tried running the mobo outside the computer, so it wasn't touching the metal (it was on cardboard).

Is there an on/off switch on PSU?
you make sure you connected the xra 4pin connector to mobo?
Press power button and hold it for 2-3sec before letting go?
try clearing the cmos by putting the jumpers on the clr_cmos pins

Thanks for the quick responses. Yeah, the PSU's turned on. The two 4 pin connectors (regular, and the one that complements the 20 pin) are in their right spots.I haven't tried clearing the CMOS, becuase in all of my experience, when that was the problem, the computer would still recieve some semblance of power. A post or something.
I had a little trouble getting the heat sink/fan on the CPU, but that's it. No other abnormal contact afflicted any parts.

be sure the power button is connected to the correct pins on the motherboard, maybe you have it backwards or on the wrong pins or something. also be sure your wall socket has power.

Does anything happen when you press the power button? If even the fans and hard drives don't turn on it's probably one of the following:
- Power supply or mobo fucked up
- Power button not connected to motherboard
- Motherboard not connected to power supply
- Power supply not connected to wall socket
