Proxy Question

I'm new around here and after browsing a bit I started using a proxy.
 
Problem is, when I open an image post with Anonymizer, I get a screen telling me I am permanently banned since January xx.

I had never heard of 4Chan in January.  What gives?  AND...

What (free) proxy server should I try?  Thanks.

I thought tor was b& from 4chan.
