I just upgraded to Windows Vista. Im on a network, the master computer is on xp (with the router attached) and all the other computers/laptops are on xp except mine. its a wireless network and for some reason, after installing my wireless adapter on vista, it now says when i try to connect "the capability of your network adapter does not match the requirements of this network" how do i connect?

Try upgrading the driver for the wireless adapter. Also, I was wondering if you actually are connected to the network but with limited access or you simply cannot connect at all?

the network is there, but whenever i try to connect it just says "the capability of your network adapter does not match the requirements of this network". Does the master computer with the router need to upgrade to vista or does the router need drivers or something?

I don't think installing Vista on your master computer will solve the problem. Do you have another wireless adapter or can you borrow one? Try using another wireless adapter and see if you get the same problem.

Ha ha ha, what a stupid faggot.

I can tell you things that suck about Vista:
- The Mother Russia of OSes: computer manages you.
- Digital AIDS everywhere.
- Microsoft shit, luser bloatware everywhere.
- Defective by design.
- More shit I'm not bothering to describe (e.g. OpenGL over D3D to fuck with portable games, requires Microsoft and mafiaa-approved hardware to play HD, etc).

Good things about Vista:
- For now, you can refuse to use Windows Vista, even in the United States.
- It can be erased, its DVDs can be broken, its boxes burnt.
- It doesn't have anything to do with real operating systems such as Linux (AKA GNAA/Lunix) or *BSD.
- It's helping Linux and free software by disgusting Windows power users who are moving to Linux and free software.
- It's an inflection point in Microsoft's evil business. Hopefully things will never go so good for them from now on.
