Halp! Explorer.exe won't load

Basically, when my computer starts up, explorer.exe won't load all I see is my wallpaper,  no icons, taskbar or nothing. All I can do is start things via Task Menu. I've tried starting it manually via task manager.

I've been becoming an hero and barrel-rolling all day, nothing has seemed to work, help.
