The ones who blindly follow Apple to a tee, then yes. You'd be surprised what kind of stuff you can do under the command line in OS X. Never would have been possible during the pre-OS X days.

Though, the price tag for a Mac is high, and really, it's not worth it. You could afford to put together what is called a "Hackintosh" and run OS X that way, but you're better off with a distribution of Linux or a flavor of BSD, or even use PuTTY under Windows with a Unix shell account.

Hm...I see lots of hate toward all operating systems..but nobody ever gave a reason as to WHY they hate it, so I'll list mine.
Windows - insecure, unstable, slow, fucked, expensive, and pretty much all viruses runs on it, even though software doesn't. Now here's the good part of owning a Windows: When testing your newest hacks against it you won't have to change firewall settings, IP restrictins etc, the exploit will pwn it anyway. Another good thing is that you won't have to fix any problems yourself. As a matter of fact you CAN'T fix them yourself, you gotta wait for greedy microshit to do it for you.
Mac: well..only thing I have against it is that it's similiar to Linux...WITHOUT THE FREEDOM!! Big big big minus...got no good sides to it to be honest.
Linux: To me it's the best operating system, I like sitting there reading the code, and if there's a problem you CAN fix it yourself. And try using Linux for a year, your knowledge about computers will grow. Won't end up like a retarded winfag.
