Yo I've got a movie in .avi format that has two audio tracks, one in some moon language and the other in english. The moon language is the default one that loads at first in VLC, but I can change that shit 'cause VLC is smert. HOWEVER, when I load the shit in Nero to burn it the bitch won't allow me to select the other non-moonlanguage audio track like it normally does. Looked around but all I can see is stupid shit about people having problems with subtitles and their .srt's. I've got two .srt files for subtitles in both languages, but fuck subs. Any ideas?

Well, do you need the subtitles?
Will you be using Nero to make this avi into dvd?
I have a divx dvd player, claims to play subtitles if you burn
the srt along with movie, (both named the same except for extensions) But I never got it to work. I guess you could Embed
the subtitle, using Virtual Dub. Its a bitch to do.

Well the file "avi" is prob. a OGG or MKV file.
you will need some kinda of Demux program for either.
That will split the files or you pick what you want.
What you will end up with is
1. Video file with AVI extension.
2. Audio file (just the one you want or both depending on the demux options of the program.)
3. The subtitles. *.SRT or other
If audio is not WAV, you will need to convert it into WAV.
Once you got that, Load AVi in vdub,[Video--full process mode] add the Wav [Audio--wav Audio, also set it to Full process mode]
Then go to Video--Filters--ADD and choose VSFilter.dll
Here you will select your SRT subtitle file.
You still with me? :x
Go to Video--Compression and choose the Compression you would like. Note you prob. will lose some quality.
Once your done with that.
go to File--Save AVI and choose your new name for this avi
and wait for encode process to finish. 1-2 hrs maybe?
