You are kidding arent you ?
Are you saying that this linux can run on a computer without windows underneath it, at all ? As in, without a boot disk, without any drivers, and without any services ?
That sounds preposterous to me.
If it were true (and I doubt it), then companies would be selling computers without a windows. This clearly is not happening, so there must be some error in your calculations. I hope you realise that windows is more than just Office ? Its a whole system that runs the computer from start to finish, and that is a very difficult thing to acheive. A lot of people dont realise this.
Microsoft just spent $9 billion and many years to create Vista, so it does not sound reasonable that some new alternative could just snap into existence overnight like that. It would take billions of dollars and a massive effort to achieve. IBM tried, and spent a huge amount of money developing OS/2 but could never keep up with Windows. Apple tried to create their own system for years, but finally gave up recently and moved to Intel and Microsoft.
Its just not possible that a freeware like the Linux could be extended to the point where it runs the entire computer fron start to finish, without using some of the more critical parts of windows. Not possible.
I think you need to re-examine your assumptions.

Are you saying that this meme won't run on a board with suckers like you, at all ? As in, without flame responses, without endless kopipe, and without clueless replies?
That sounds preposterous to me.
If it were true (and I doubt it), then people would be ignoring this without a problem. This clearly is not happening, so there must be some error in your calculations. I hope you realise that this message is more than just kopipe ? Its a whole system that hooks the sucker from start to finish, and that is a very difficult thing to acheive. A lot of people dont realise this.
Some guy just spent 47 minutes and many edits to create this message, so it does not sound reasonable that some trolls would just ignore such a message just like that. It would take a quality distraction and a massive effort to achieve. Vacbob tried, and spent a huge amount of effort developing anti-pasta technologies but could never keep up with pasta bots. Moot tried to create his own system for years, but finally gave up recently and moved to Mootxico.
Its just not possible that a meme like the preposterous Linux assumption would be extended to the point where it spans the entire board fron start to finish, without hooking any of the more clueless parts of this board. Not possible.
I think you need to re-examine your assumptions.

Can't blame Microsoft for trying to make a secure OS. They have to begin all over from square one. Lol.

ms isn't about innovative technologies, it is about trapping users into their product. when you depend on their products that don't have an equal in other areas, you've falling in their trap. it's a very big trap with lots of things to do while you're in there but it is still a trap.

I love vista!, I love the way it restarts with no apparent reason, I love how it asks you 3 times "are you sure you are not a virus", I love the way it deletes files you just spent hours writing, I love how it convenietly forgets every setting you ever made locking your computer no mater how many times you tell it no to, I love how every time I find a work around to get past all the bugs Microsoft brings an update to break that too!

If you pirate vista, do you fall into this trap?
Also, the hardware on my PC is optimised for vista anyway so I don't really see a problem with it. And I haven't noticed anything bad about it yet so I don't really see what the fuss is about.

How does anon like Windows 7? RC1 Ultimate is out in both 32 and 64 bit. I'm enjoying it but don't want to risk it on my main computer. If you have Vista and don't like it, get RC1 for free while you can.
