Diskette Image = Pain in the ass

Hey /comp/.  What's up.

Anyhow, I need to convert a diskette image into a bootable CD.  However, when I attempted to burn the image with Nero, it succeeded... but the disk didn't work.  Any idea about how to get the files off of it so that I can flash the BIOS of a laptop?

Copy them into a new image?

How should I do that?  I've tried mounting it with multiple mounting softwares.  Nothing's working.
