i got a 1GB usb drive thingy.. it came formatted with FAT... is it a bad idea to format it with NTFS?

format it with Reiser4 for maximum compatibility.

There's no need to. FAT is great for storing files. NTFS is better suited for HDD's.

yeah, i figured i would only need ntfs for HEUG files like DVD images but i was just wondering.
