How much disk space is needed for a full installation of Windows 2000? I'm partitioning a drive and I don't want the primary partition taking more space then necessary.

When I installed mine like ages ago it took about 800 megs. Nowadays with updates it'll probably go way over a gig.

If you're worried about disk space, Opera is incredibly small.

With a whole bunch of programs (Photoshop, etc etc) use around 10-20 GB.
I'm using 15 as my boot drive (Windows, photoshop and everything else thats remotely work related)
Clean fresh install? Just go with 5. That should sort out it's "Virtual memory" as well.
