Hi, so, i have this awesome board (p2b-d) and i ran it for years with 2x350 mhz p2, i also tried the board with a p2 400 (100 mhz fsb) that also worked.

Now i got 2 P3 650 Mhz (also 100 mhz fsb) and it dosent work at all, the board just blinks with the power and harddrive led.
It does the same if i start it with no cpu at all..

Ofcause on asus webpage the only thing there ISENT there, is the manual..

1000xInternets to whom can find a manual or even just a listing of how to set jumpers for diffrent cpu speeds, or any help at all actually ! :)

Thank you.

You need a Pentium 3 board for Pentium 3s, they are different processors. It *might* work if you manage to find your model and find information online.

Alternatively, you can use www.opera.com to do what you want.

Also alternatively, you could make the jump to modern hardware, where a $80 processor can rape your old setup with ease. Just sayin'.

Are you kidding? A you can get an Athlon64 for like $45 now. Something like a P2/P3 is only worth your time if it gives you ZERO trouble.
