USB Devices Not Recognized By WinXP SP2

It's only been recent that anything connected by USB is considered an unrecognized device, even self-installing devices such as a thumb drive. Any way to revert to stock drivers on Windows?

That's Microsoft's way of saying that it's time to reinstall Windows.
