Well when I started up my PC about an hour ago the mouse was all tanged up so I unplugged it, untangled the cable and plugged it back again. Of course, it didn't work when I plugged it back in again but for some reason neither did my wireless keyboard. I couldn't reboot without just turning off the PC at the switch.
When I got back into Windows, it had seemed to have "forgotten" what a shortcut file was - it still had the address of the file within itself, but it just asked you to find it as if it was an unknown filetype - then what you pointed it at tried to OPEN the shortcut (So Firefox did eventually open by trying to open its own shortcut...) This is my quick launch shortcuts and the entire start menu...
What's more, with the odd exception of Azureus, no programs appear down in the bottom-right by the clock any more and more worryingly/annoyingly no right clicking options seem to work. So for example, I can't change desktop settings, or get into hardware profile via right clicking on My Computer.
What teh fuck is going on?
