slow interbutts

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-07 18:21

Im connected to a wireless router... wirelessly. the other two computer that are physically connected to the router have no speed problems. its only recently that it has started to slow down but nothing appears unusual. it shows and excellent connection, and ive tried restarting everything. in fact, the power went out at one time(after this started happening) so everything has had to have been restarted. i also dont have any processes running beside my antivisrus and exporer.

what are some things i can try to pinpoint the problem?

i using a linksys card and a d-link router.

a wire would require going through the attic so i really would rather fix the wireless problem

okay, nevermind...

my dad(whos always yakking at me about using up bandwidth) has had his computer on for days.... after a 20 min argument about how our internet service has nothing to do with how incredibly slow my computer communicates with the router he turned his off, and now everythings fine.
