eMule - What the fuck?

So I'm trying to set up eMule. I've made the right exceptions in XP firewall (using AVG, but there doesn't seem to be anything that'd limit ports in any way) and I've forwarded all the ports on my router. Still getting a big fat red X when I "test ports" in eMule. Halp plox? And I've checked out their documentation, it doesn't tell me to do much except what I've already done (having read the documentation once before) and so on.
