Long post about debian (support)

'sup /comp/?
I just installed debian on a small partition on my laptop. I think i cocked up the install though. Everything is fine after i log in but i want to install a desktop environment(did a minimal install) and my wireless card isn't recognised so i have no way of getting packages from the net. However, i have the first 3 debian binary cds and i was just wondering what i need to install so that i can install kde or which cd i need to be using. It says it can't find kde but that other packages refer to it so i'm somewhat lost. Also, since this is a test install for when i fix the ageing desktop in the corner, how do i get rid of the debian partition when i'm done messing about?

if you mean delete the whole parition from back within windows, go to Start->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer Management->Disk Management and kill it there.

It's probably talking about a virtual package. If so, you just need to install one of the packages it mentions and you'll get the functionality of the package you're trying to install.
