PC Won't Turn Back On?

I can start it up fine, as long as I wait a few minutes after turning it off. I can't turn it back on immediately after shutting down. Nothing happens when I push the power button.

I have no knowledge of computer hardware stuff. Help? What can I do to figure out what the problem is and then fix it?

PSU, maybe. I had a similar problem that was fixed by upgrading to a more powerful/less failful PSU.

It's not a problem for me, I'm just worried that using the computer could do harm to it. Are all the possible causes safe to ignore so that I can just turn it on and never turn it off unless I'm not using it?

Does main screen turn on?

clean fans/heatsinks/etc
