Software Firewalls

I used to use ZoneAlarm but switched over to Comodo. Now Comodo seems to be a massive resource hog so which free software firewall  takes up the least amount of CPU during normal use?

desktopfirewalls dont help you shit if you know how to handle your machine, they only disturb your work/playing. if you're a total geek, yes, it might help, but if you simply use a safe browser, get your network services configured right, i you know how to use teh intarnets, you will never have a problem.

my windows is installed for 26 months without an antivirus or firewall, and not behind a router, and i am clean. (well, clean, how would i know if i am without an antivirus, but IF i have something, its something that does neither use bandwidth nor system ressources, and why would i care about that)
