Missing Wireless system files?

Name: Anonymous 2007-01-21 14:25

So my wireless card stopped working in my Windows XP installation.  I dual boot into Archlinux and it works just fine there, so the problem exists either in the driver or my OS.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver countless times, and then I called Belkin Support (the card is F5D7000) and the conclusion there was that I was missing some important system files to enable wireless networking, and that I had to reinstall the operating system.  I would really to not have to reinstall the operating system, however, as that would also entail reinstalling GRUB, so here's my question: What system files are required for wireless networking and how would I go about reinstalling them?

Oh, and I've tried recompiling my kernel; no success.

maybe you should try decompiling your kernel

Just recompiling it won't help, you'll have to download the latest version and compile it.
