System Alert!

I've been getting this popup all day, and I don't trust it... I bet if I click it, it installs spyware instead of getting rid of viruses. I've got two good virus scanners, and neither detects anything.

Question is, how do I get rid of the damn popup?

You've got AIDS.

The fact that it's appearing at all means you already have malware on your system. Not all virus scanners pick up adware/spyware/extortionware. You need AdAware, SpybotS&D, Windows Defender or similar to get rid of this (try System Restore to before the pop started appearing first - that can be enough in some cases). But still run a trusted anti-spyware package after too.

Do you have a new install and lack a firewall to block IM's and  malware that Window's Security fixes usually remedy? I got those until I fired up a firewall.

Is speaking the truth.

You are already infected. If you're getting these popups, your infection is most likely very serious. What "good virus scanners" do you have? They're obviously not so great.
