I've been looking for a good wireless keyboard w/o a numpad for the past week.. and I can't find anything good. Either the keyboard layout blows, or it has some dealbreaker like no +/- keys (for BIOS), it costs a few hundred dollars, or has horrible range.

Anyone know of a keyboard that wouldnt be on Amazon/Newegg? I might end up being forced to get a full-sized keyboard.

your kernel needs a recompile.

Adesso - IR, needs a direct line of sight
Gyration - keypresses drop occasionally

I've looked, and almost everything has a problem.. even the diNovo @ $200 isn't perfect--it's missing a standard +/- key, so changing options on BIOS is impossible.

1)Start>Programs>Accessories>Accessibility>On-screen Keyboard
2)???

I have a bad back so I run my computers propped up against pillows on my bed. I've done this with my mouse on a low table by my right hand and with a computer connected to a nearby KVM switch.
Originally I wasted several hundred dollars on the then best wireless keyboards. All had "issues" and Keytronic was the best. I think Logictech bought them out but I'm not certain of that.
What sort of gymnastics are you planning that take your keyboard out of line of sight?
