4 monitors on one PC

4 monitors on one PC, no clone displays. Is this even possible setup this on a windows box?

I've:
 - some AGP adapters with VGA/DVI/S-video outputs
 - PCI graphic cards with VGA output
 - 4 monitors with VGA inputs
 - DVI -> VGA adapters

you need 4 graphics cards. the go to properties from the desktop and just set up the extra monitors in the settings tab. you can choose the order etc and set up. its not worth it.

I have four set up right now. You need two graphics cards (because every card worth buying since at least the GF 3 series has two ports), and if you have an SLI board or a spare PCI slot, this is no problem.

Install the hardware normally and just hook up the monitors you want. You should get what you want. (Personally, I find little use for a fourth, though, and will probably go back to three soon.)

I wish I could do 3 monitors, then I could play Darius and Darius2 in MAME unscaled, then I'd probably ejaculate myself to sleep.
