Right click, open with, check the always open with this program box, select firefox. Win.

Open any folder.

 ->Tools
   -> Folder options
       -> File types
           -> HTML extension
               -> Advanced
                   -> Change Icon

Just delete the HTM and HTML filetypes from the same list and open them with firefox.exe when prompted?
