Hidding Programs

I'm trying to "hide" my torrent program so that my roommates cant close it. Is there anyway to hide it from my task bar and icon bar? So that it would just show up in the Task Manager?

I'm using Windows XP Pro. Thanks in advanced.

make a compromise.  change the settings of the torrent to not use as much bandwidth.
