Dell laptop

I plan on getting a Dell Inspiron 6400. So far my research shows pretty good reviews, and it happens to be the cheapest deal with all the parts I need too. But lurking on /g/ for quite some time, Dell=AIDS mentality must've struck me. I know Dell's desktops are problematic for being overpriced and non-upgradable, but how are their laptops?

Check out Lenovo instead. Dell has been ignoring their service contracts lately, and the only reason to get a dell laptop is the warranty
