Wireless connects, wired one won't?

Something is wrong with one of my internets.  My wireless laptop gets a signal (posting from it now, lol) but my PC, which is connected to the router itself, does not.  Whenever the PC is directly connected to the modem, it works, so I'm pretty sure it's not a cable or the PC's internal parts.

Can anyone halp?

try checking if your laptop is connecting to your router or someone else's unsecured router
