hay /comp/ how do i become ues intarnets?

Okay, so I've got this wireless network in my house. I just got a new laptop complete with wireless intertr0n card. The problem: I have tried everything I know how to do but I can't access the internets via my wireless network. I can access the network perfectly well (I can access the other computer's iTunes library without any problems), but I can't get webbernets on the lappy.

A thousand internets to whomever can help me solve this problem.

You must set the DNS correctly.

How do I do that?

When you configured your wireless settings, did you set the ESSID to the network name (something simple like 'linksys') and then input the IP addresses if DHCP isnt working?
