pirating Windows XP

I am trying to pirate windows xp. I've downloaded like 5 diffrent versions, both home and pro, but I can't get any of them to install. They all go on about missing or corrupt files or don't boot at all. I know the computer works because I can get Damn Small Linux to boot.

Is there a certain way I have to burn the ISOs?

So what am I suppose to do, go up to random people on the street and say "Hey, can you help me pirate windows xp?" or ask Best Buy for help? I don't have any friends, that's why I'm on 4chan.
