Hello, I come here to humbly ask for your advice and assistance. I will be buying a new PC shortly, and lately I've been out of the loop due to misc. B.S. (namely being in the military) and no free time. What exactly are the advantages of getting a dual core processor, vs say, getting a 3ghz or so single core? That's mainly what I'm wondering. I know I wanna get at least a 256 mb video card, a 512 if I can find an affordable one. What do you reccomend? Other advice would be appreciated. I'm looking at getting a good gaming PC w/o breaking the bank, looking to spend up to $2000 or so. Thanks dudes.
