Malware

My boyfriend accidentally got malware on the computer, he's off doing something else so I'm taking over trying to fix it.

Upon referral by /g/, googled 'Hijackthis' and ran a couple of its programs.  Have the log here, there's also screencaps of the problem in /g/:

Posted in spywareinfo.com forums, but don't know when someone will help.  If anyone can take a look at the log and advise as to the next step, please let me know.

What is perfect codec? If that's something you trust, ignore, otherwise, it looks pretty prolific on your system.

Does the virus/malware show up in antivirus scans? If not (or if AV doesn't know how to handle it properly), did it put shortcuts to porn/gambling sites on your desktop? You might have the smitfaud trojan.
