So /comp/, I recently made a switch back to <2.0 of firefox. Why? Because I kept getting errors whenever something had flash in it. I tried re-installing flash and tweak other things that had something to do with flash, but no go.
Anyone else have this problem? Or am I the only poor sucker with that problem?
Anyone else have problems with 2.0? Or do you think it's a godsend from teh interbuttz? Because honestly, because of that problem, I loves my < 2.0 firefox. :>

Actually, I'm STILL having that problem....FUCK. :( I keep getting errors that close down my firefox. :( I believe it's because of flash.

So, what's the problem? Anything in Firefox 2 you needed? As far as I could see the two major changes in Firefox 2 are the version number and the spell checker (talk about wasting RAM). I don't need either.

I think I know what my problem is, flash isn't properly installed. I thought it installed but apparently not. What happens is the installation loader goes up to 100%, disappears, and nothing happens. In my processes it still shows the flash installer exists. What could be the problem?

Oh, if you wanted to know what the problem exactly was? I always get this error saying "Macromedia flash has performed an illegal operation, it is recommended to close firefox immediately" and gave me the option of clicking ok and checking a box to not show the error anymore during the session.

Problem solved. Installed Flash 7.0 for Netscape and got it working after uninstalling 9.0.

See with Firefox you'd have to fuck around with some extension to get that functionality. Opera's ready right out of the box.

too bad the hardest part about using opera is the part where you have to turn HARD GAY first
after that it's easy to shell out the money for something that's supposed to be free anyway
Opera has been free for months now. I just dont trust free software so I switched to IE.

So it already has a good dowload manager, Moji, Rikaichan and gmail drive functionality, etc?
Cool, gonna switch to Opera.

Opera's download manager is better than Firefox's, and I'm sorry Opera is too good for your weeaboo shit. As for Gmail drive what the fuck does that have to do with a browser? Go back to using Netscape Communicator Suite or some shit.

You see, that's why Opera fails so hard. Functionality you want (and everyone needs different stuff) isn't implemented at all and called "shit". Way to go, fucktard Opera fanboy.
"Opera's ready right out of the box." my fucking ass. It's about on par with IE. Oh wait, I think IE7 supports customization too, so put Opera even worse now.
