Flash as in flash drive?
or Flash animation?
or the processes of flashing bios /firmware or in this case obtaining the original from a device?

I think he means "flesh ripper". I just grab a random paring knife , really. Works well enough.

Sothink SWF decompiler if you use IE a lot, it puts a context menu item that will save many .swf files, the program can also open up and let you browse individual files (images, audio) within the swf
Firefox can save embedded flash files through Tools > Page Info > Media
