What could the problem be?

I think something is up with my internet.

I turn on my computer, do my usual thing; browse the web, play Halo PC, check out forums and such, and then leave the computer on as I go off to do something else, like say play Final Fantasy XII. So then when I'm done with the PS2, I turn back to my computer.

Now, when I open up firefox, click whatever link, nothing happens. I try to open a link into a new tab, and the tab is just labeled 'untitled' with the address bar blank. Also, the torrents I'm currently trying to download with uTorrent, aren't downloading. Torrents with as much as 1200 seeds aren't connecting, and this problem is perpetual, it doesn't matter how long the computer's been on. I remember a couple of weeks ago I could leave the computer on overnight to find anything I've been downloading with uTorrent is done when I wake up.

I think this might have to do with how I had my Tune Up Utilities 2006 'optimize' my Firefox settings, something about disk cache, I have no idea. That kind of stuff I know nothing about. That wouldn't explain the torrent problem though.

Someone help me out, I think I might have to re-install windows again.
