Torrenting

So, can /comp/ tell me, without breaking into trolling wars, the pros and cons of different torrenting programs are. I used to use Azureus, but it would eat up my resources, so I started using uTorrent, but I heard that it's full of spyware and limits download speed based on upload speed or something like that. What are the patrons of /comp/ using?

utorrent has a built in search bar... this search bar goes through  one of their webservers and effectively adds a banner on top of any page your searching using frames...

That is the 'spyware' people are talking about. Do not use the search engine built in and you have no problem. If you want to search for items quickly create keywords in firefox and then use though, IE: 'ISO some roms' in firefox's address bar will search ISOhunt for the term some roms.

Other than that, no utorrent has no spyware/adware.
That is also a 'relatively' new feature though, as it did not do that in previous versions.

I still use utorrent myself and have no problem with it.
