I keep coming back to the computer when I should be doing other things. I need to keep the computer occupied with something or have it perform some task that prevents me from using it. That or process something meaningless like Winamp visualizations with the volume off.

If you really want to keep your computer busy, have it do something useful - fold some proteins for scientific research.

Install linux, or defrag, or just unplug and/or get some self control.

get o&o defrag, and let it make a complete defrag, the progress on a 60GB HDD is appr. ½% pr. hour, should keep it occupied.
