Sup, uh, /comp/. I've downloaded Adobe's Photo Illustrator and I want to make artistic colour text like on Brian Clevinger (see: http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/3020/exampledc6.jpg) but I don't know how I can get text to look like that.

Photo Illustrator, Illustrator or Photoshop?
PS can do all of that in the image, it's based on Warp(ing) Text.

oh wait. photo illustrator?
in ILLUSTRATOR, you can manipulate the text, and add a stroke around the edge and fill it with a cheap basic gradient and viola.
in PHOTOSHOP, you can't manipulate the text paths as well as you can with illustrator, but you can still accomplish that basic task.
