A Decent/Good/Great Codec Pack

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-16 19:00

Can anyone recommend a particular codec pack? I've tried working around with Haali, ffdshow and MPC and it continually fucks me over, so I need a codec pack. Anyone use a good one?

yeah, I've gone through all that, multiple configs, all that stuff, and I still have the same problems.

That being MPC crashes if I try to open a file while another one is currently playing, and when it doesn't crash the video doesn't refresh until I move the window from one screen to the next and back again (dual monitors), and if I don't do that and attempt to pause, stop, or jump ahead in the file, the player will crash :\

Also, ogm or mkv files that have dual audio don't actually give me the option to switch between them, and I'm stuck listening to both audio tracks simultaneously. :\

imho, codec packs suck major ass. if you still want one, google for "cccp" though.
installing only the codecs you need is the way to go.

ps: ffdshow also sucks ass

Disable those source filters since Haali's splitter is superior.
