I'd like to know how the code on how to make a download link in firefox. It's a normal word.doc I want to have downloadable on my website, but I can't get it to work in FIREFOX, it works perfectly in IE using the code <a href="E:\Hemsida\1.doc"> but Firefox tells me it doesn't know how to work with (e)...

Help very much appriciated.

If you must use absolute names, include protocol name, like file:///c|/blah/blah.doc

Is there a better HTML guide somewhere? Im a total n00b at the webpage making. I dont even have a teacher like the OP does.
What sort of "free web page" options are there on the internets? I could use geocities, but... what else is there? And... ... Whats the best program so I dont have to learn HTML?

Hey, I checked out ttp://www.free-webspace.biz and they do allow adult content so long as its not illegal.
All I want to do is host my giga-upload links. Lol, Im doings the hard way, but whatever, so long as Im amused lol
