I have an Audigy 2 ZS sound card and use it's surround mixer program for volume control. I also use Media Player Classic to view video files and DVDs. I've noticed that whenever I open MPC, it will change the surround mixer "Wave" volume to match its current volume level.
I've gone through MPC settings and can't find anything that would cause this. I can change the volume of MPC so that it will be about 50%, matching Audigy's default, but other media viewers like foobar, winamp, wmp, etc. don't interfere like MPC does.
I was wondering if anyone knew what is causing this to happen. If it is just the interaction between MPC and Audigy or if there's some other programs interfering. I also have the most recent DefilerPak as my only codec pak.
