For a couple of days now, it seems like every few hundred MBs I download through a torrent client is causing my internet to crash.
I'm curious if it could be my ISP capping the bandwidth, and if so, if there's some sort of workaround for such? I heard from a friend that if I buy a new modem instead of using the ISP's complimentary one it could fix it (is this true?), but otherwise I'm completely in the dark.
