NO DMA ON MY HARDRIBR

- running debian linux 2.6.17, compiled it myself
- can't seem to enable dma on /dev/hda (don't know if i ever could  because this is the first time i paid attention to it lol)
- lspci tells me i have: 0000:00:1f.1 IDE interface: Intel Corp. 82801AB IDE (rev 02)
- make menuconfig does not seem to have a driver available for that.  that above *is* the ide chipset, right?
- what do i doing?
