Multiple Monitor Display Management

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-01 19:46

I have dual monitors, and I want good software that can remember certain multi-monitor settings, such as which monitor a certain program should open in, how it uses the other, etc.  An example being I like to surf 4chan on one monitor, and then have all windows pop up on the other monitor.  I've tried the default management software that comes from ati (the maker of my gpu), but it sux0rz.  Thanks.

The GIMP is a serious, usable dual-screen photoshop alternative.

Now just use your card drivers, bung in the PCI addresses for the card(s)
Might want to specify MOAR HUEG RES MODES.
And youll definately want to specify the horizontal/vertical syncs of the monitors.

Restart X and Voila 2 screens without using xinerama FAIL software.
