I have a GeForce FX 5200. I had an old (read: earlier this year) copy of the drivers for it, which I use every time I reformat. Recently, I figured let's update those old drivers, so I threw out the old installer and downloaded the latest one. Now, my monitor "refreshes" every so often, going black for a second. Annoying, but I could deal. Just today though, it went into an extended blackout (about 10 seconds). I knew the computer was still working, I could still hear AIM sounds of people messaging me. After 10 secs, it went back to the desktop. It's happened several times since then. This is unbearable. Does anyone know what the problem is, or at the very least, where I could find some older nVidia drivers?
