hey guys. i've got a question.
my college network has disabled TCP for what looks like all ports. Now, i know for a fact that world of warcraft use TCP on port 3724. i also know for a fact that this, as well as other applications that use TCP work. However! last time i ran a port scan, all ports showed up with TCP not availble.
this brings me to my main problem.
now, i'm trying to run bittorrent. there is nothing against bittorrent in my school's network rules and regulations. there are, of course, rules against downloading liscenced material, however, im not planning to use bittorrent to download anything illegal.
the thing is, bittorret wont work. i'm using azureus, and i've even tried using the ports that ventrilo, world of warcraft, and some other applications use that work fine.
still no luck.
i come seeking help and wisdom, /comp/
thanks for reading
