IE WORM!!!

I work at a major ISP. We're being swamped by calls related to what appears to be a new IE Worm. Symptoms: IE will close 1 - 5 seconds after being opened. Email seems to be unaffected. Im currently on hold with Microsoft trying to get answers. Does anyone know WTF is going on?

After waiting ages on hold...it turns out Microsoft released an "update" for IE that is causing the problem. They're offering free technical support to fix this: 18009365700
