I have an HP Pavilion zv6000 laptop. I did not buy this laptop, my dad did. Since I have bought it, a number of things have broken or gone wrong, and HP tech support has not been helpful at all.
My main problem is the LCD screen - the image flickers on and off, and blurs and distorts no matter what I do - I have to hold it firmly and bend the top left corner and the botton right corner in order to get it to work at all....I know it's not the drivers, and I know it's not the backlight I am also pretty sure it's not the video cable, although I have no way of testing it aside from playing around with it, which has accomplished nothing....aside from smashing it with a hammer, is there any way to fix it without having to buy a new screen/computer entirely?
