Filezilla FTP Probs

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-16 14:19

I have set up a ftp back home while I am away a school so I can access stuff. I am running filezilla behind a router/firewall on both ends. I am using port 21 to connect as usual, and I havd fowarded ports 20-25 on both ends to the respective computers.

My problem is that I still cant seem to connect, I keep seeing ths on the client end...
Connecting to **server** ...
Connected with **server** . Waiting for welcome message...
Error:    Unable to connect!

And on the server end none of this shows up, nothing at all does. So did I forget to foward a certan port or did I do somthing else wrong?

isp may be blocking standard ftp port
try higher port like 49000

also: be sure you set the passive port range on the server to 22-25 or something within the range of ports you have opened up (but don't include 20-21, or whatever control/data ports)
