No Video on a new system

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-13 2:29

So I just put together a new computer, all the parts hooked up and shit, but when I plug in the monitor I get nothing. It tells me that their is no cable hooked up. Its not the monitor as I've check multiple monitors. Only thing I could think of is my video card being shit even though I've never used it.

Any other problems it could be? Or should I just send it back to Nvidia.....

Have you tried plugging an old video card into the Mobo instead of the new one?  Then if that works, you'll know it's a problem with the new card.

Way to specify what video card you have, at he very least. Maybe it requires a separate power connection, and you didn't plug that in? Maybe your board isn't posting for one reason or another?
