DVI to DVI-D

So I just bought a Video Card and it only has DVI connectors on it, and my monitor I thought had the right connectors but its a slightly diffrent DVI-D connector. It will plug in but I don't get any signal, are they not compatable together and if so anyone know where I can get an adapter. I've looked on Newegg and haven't found anything.
