Okay, I have a fairly serious problem here.
We recently got cable internet in our apartment, but our connection, while fast at first, slowed to a crawl when we hooked it up to a d-link router. So, I went and bought a linksys wireless router and hooked it up. now, I have a separate linksys wireless-G USB adapter, and I connected to the router with it. Well, since sunday it's been dropping connections seemingly at random, and when it does connect it's very slow. The connection has a password on it, and this didn't crop up until afterwards.
I'm not sure if it's the wireless because when I just use a cable to hook up to the router, it's still slow. Am I missing something?
(will provide more info if more info is necessary.)
